Sunny Bay App Store

Merge game for iPhone

Merge it. Serve it. Bring the bay back to life.

Grandma Rose’s seaside café is a ruin. Merge two of a kind into something better, hand it to a hungry guest, and spend the coins on a new sign, a door, a roof. Then the beach, the pier, the market, the hotel and a whole island.

The App Store page is not live yet. This button will open it when the listing is up. The game is free to download, with ads and optional purchases.

Sunny Bay on an iPhone: guests with their orders at the top, a board full of items to merge, and the New item button.
The board: guests wait at the top, items to merge below.

One round, from a gift box to a happy guest

Everything happens on one board. The guests tell you what to make; the coins they pay fix up the bay.

  1. 1

    Get new items

Tap New item and something lands on a free spot: wheat, a flower, fruit, ice cream, seafood and more. It costs a few coins, and it is more often a kind a guest is waiting for. Out of coins? A free one comes every half minute.

  2. 2

    Merge two of a kind

Drag one onto its twin and they become the next item. Eight families, eight steps each, from wheat to a birthday cake. Tap anything a guest wants to see its whole recipe.

  3. 3

    Serve the guests

Grandma Rose, Chef Leo, Captain Bo, Lily, Mia and Mr. Finn order what they like. When their items are on the board, tap Serve and they pay in coins.

  4. 4

    Repair the bay

Every part of a place is bought twice: once to fix it, once to make it beautiful. A nicer bay brings more guests and bigger tips, and opens the next place.

Six places, from ruin to beautiful

Each place starts broken and grey. Every repair adds colour, people and little details until it shines.

  • The Old CaféGrandma Rose’s café, where it all starts.
  • Sunny BeachSunbeds, umbrellas, a juice kiosk and a lifeguard tower.
  • The PierA lighthouse, boats, a fish stall and a Ferris wheel.
  • Market SquareFruit and flower stalls around a fountain.
  • Seaside HotelBalconies, a pool bar and a neon sign.
  • Sunny IslandA treehouse, a waterfall and a pirate ship.
Sunny Beach fully restored: striped umbrellas, sunbeds, a juice kiosk with an orange sign, a lifeguard tower and bunting over the sand.
Sunny Beach, almost finished.
The daily tasks window: serve guests, repair the bay and earn coins, each with a reward, plus a bonus chest for all three.
Three new tasks every day.

Something to come back for

  • Three daily tasks, each with coins and gems, and a chest of gems when all three are done.
  • A gift every day you open the game.
  • A recipe book: find every item of a family and claim a reward.
  • A storage for items you want to keep when the board gets full.
  • Short scenes with the bay’s people every time a new place opens.

The last place

All the way to Sunny Island

The bay is a long job on purpose. Thirty levels, six places, forty-eight parts, each fixed and then made beautiful. The last stop is an island with a waterfall, a treehouse and fireworks over the water.

  • Each new place opens when the one before it is beautiful and you are high enough.
  • Guests ask for fancier things as you level up, and pay more for them.
  • Captain Bo’s sea map shows more places. They come in later updates.
Sunny Island at sunset, fully restored: a waterfall with a rainbow, a pirate ship, a treehouse, a hut and fireworks in the sky.
Sunny Island, finished, with fireworks.
